Get educated. Get screened. Support cancer research. Keep rollin’!

Hey friends,

Welcome to my blog about cancer prevention, screening awareness and cancer research fundraising for ALL types of cancer.

This week marks #95 since my Stage IV cancer diagnosis. I’m still in treatment and going strong. I’ll be using my own journey to help illustrate what life with cancer can look like today, what you can do to make sure your calendar NEVER looks like mine, and what we can all do to help advance cancer research and treatment for millions worldwide.

“What’s with all the orange?” you might ask. At my very first PET-scan review meeting back in Nov 2017, when I first learned the severity of my condition, my oncologist, Dr. Thomas Marsland, was wearing a small pin that read “Conquer“. I asked him about it’s meaning and as he spoke it was as though a world of help opened up for me – just when I needed it most. “Team Crafty” was formed that day and has been raising funds for cancer research and the Conquer Cancer ASCO Foundation ever since. We’re proud to support their mission – that is, to help make a cancer diagnosis less scary for every patient, everywhere.

I hope you’ll join me in this effort. – Crafty

P.S. Getting educated and getting screened starts with calling your doctor to make that appointment you’ve been pushing off. Please make that call today. – MC

I am a Stage IV cancer survivor with a very hopeful and amazing story. Surgery, chemo, radiation … I’ve have been through it all during 44+ months of treatment. Now, I am a UCSF clinical trial patient loaded with “Terminator” T-cells which may provide a major breakthrough for colorectal, colon, liver, lung, and head & neck cancers. Amazing things are always possible!
